Gilbert & George in San Francisco, February 16–May 18
Event date: February 16, 2008 - May 18, 2008

Legendary British duo Gilbert & George made a name for themselves as "living sculptures" in art and daily life. And now a retrospective of their work will appear at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. The show, organized by the Tate Museum in London, is making its U.S. debut in San Francisco. To kick off the show, the pair will host a discussion and book signing on Saturday, February 16, at 2 p.m. The exhibition runs through May 18. The de Young Museum is located in Golden Gate Park at 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive. For more information call (415) 750-3600 or visit its website. (The Advocate)
