WATCH: Let Rachel Maddow Put This Plane Attack in Eye-Opening Context

The missile attack on a passenger plane flying over Ukraine that has left 298 people dead, including more than 100 HIV and AIDS researchers on their way to an international conference, has the media speculating about consequences for those responsible.
 
On her show Thursday night, Rachel Maddow spent an enormous amount of time (at least for the television world) listing every moment in history when a passenger plane was shot down by a missile. Then she identified the one thing we should know for sure about what to expect next: whoever really did it, will say they didn't.
