The New York Post’s Page Six column reports that Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders has honored Survivor producer Mark Burnett for “having the courage to put someone gay [corporate trainer Richard Hatch] in the show and for making it a big deal in a positive way.” While no competitors in the Survivor sequel, currently airing Thursday nights on CBS, have yet come out of the closet, Burnett says, “Stay tuned.”
