Mark Johnson of Intermedia has paired up with lesbian icon Jodie Foster’s Egg Productions to bring the woman-centered Western One Hundred Years On to Paramount Pictures, Daily Variety reports. Paramount bought the project hoping Foster would take the lead role, though no negotiations are currently under way. Written by Dana Stevens, Hundred is a modern Western in which women have all of the primary roles. The story revolves around a woman who strives to keep her cattle ranch despite the interest of greedy intruders. Johnson will produce the movie with Foster and her producing partner, Meg Le Fauve. Foster is currently shooting The Panic Room for Columbia Pictures.
