Bill T. Jones, noted both for his choreography and for being very public about his status as an HIV-positive gay man, will be the subject of “The Bill T. Jones Legacy Conversation,” to be held Sunday, March 25, at 4:30 p.m. at the Emerson Majestic Theatre in Boston. The Boston Globe reports that the discussion, to be moderated by Village Voice dance critic Deborah Jowitt, will concern itself not only with Jones’s body of work as a choreographer but also with his influence on dancers who have since gone on to form their own companies. Three of these dancers—Sean Curran, Larry Goldhuber, and Heidi Latsky—will be among the participants in the discussion. The event is free and open to the public.
