Out comedian Ellen DeGeneres—who will be returning to prime time in her new sitcom, Ellen, Again, this fall—will be hosting this year’s Emmy Awards, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show will be broadcast live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on September 16. DeGeneres has cohosted the show before, sharing the duties with Home Improvement’s Patricia Richardson, in 1994.
