Madonna has loaned a Frida Kahlo painting to London's Tate Modern gallery and says that handing over a piece of her private art collection was "like letting go of one of my precious children," according to BBC News. The painting, Self-Portrait With Monkey, will become part of the exhibition "Surrealism: Desire Unbound." While the bisexual Kahlo denied being a surrealist, it is widely believed that she had a major influence on the artistic movement. "I know she will be in good hands," Madonna added. "And the exhibit would not be complete without her."
