Showtime Networks is reviving the cult online favorite Queer Duck, which premiered in October 2000 at Icebox.com. The cable network has ordered 20 episodes of the gay cartoon, including 15 new episodes and the five original online segments. The series--which follows the comic adventures of Queer Duck and his pals Openly Gator, Bi Polar Bear, and Oscar Wildcat--will launch January 23 at queer.sho.com, after which it will air Tuesday nights at 11:45 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, following the encore airing of Showtime's Queer As Folk, which begins its second season on January 6.
