Six Feet Under's Michael C. Hall among AFI nominees

The American Film Institute announced Monday the nominations for the first AFI awards, which has 19 categories for achievement in film and television. Michael C. Hall, who plays gay mortician David Fisher on the HBO series Six Feet Under is up for male Actor of the Year in a series. The awards will be presented January 5 in a live television broadcast from Beverly Hills, Calif.
