The five-part Nightline series "A Matter of Choice?" about gay life in America, has been postponed from its April 8-12 airdates because of current developments in the Middle East. The series was first scheduled to run in the fall of 2001 but was pushed back due to coverage of the war in Afghanistan. An ABC spokesperson noted, "The producers feel the story arc of the series is very important, and they don't want to do a disservice to the series by airing it during a week when they could have to interrupt it to cover events in the Middle East." A new airdate has not yet been announced.
