Gaspar Noë's controversial new film Irreversible, which features a graphic rape scene and a trip to a gay S/M club, will be released in Britain without cuts, reports BBC News. The British Board of Film Classification gave the movie an 18 certificate, saying that the film is "not designed to titillate." Noë had said that he would rather the film not be shown at all than to be shown with any cuts. Lions Gate Films will release Irreversible in the United States.
