Police officers in New York City are searching for a man they believe committed an antigay attack at a midtown deli in the early morning hours of Sunday, reports the New York Post

Cops told the Post that the suspect approached two men in line at Speedy's on Broadway and hurled antigay slurs at the pair. When the men didn't respond to the suspect's remarks, he kicked one of the victims in the left shoulder before fleeing west on 32nd Street, police said.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his 40s who was last seen wearing a black tank top, black shorts, and sneakers. NYPD officials released the video still above in hopes of identifying the suspect.

This marks at least the 30th anti-LGBT attack reported in New York City this year — twice as many as were reported in 2012.
