The trial date for two Aberdeen, S.D., roommates charged with knowingly exposing sex partners to HIV has been postponed until early 2003, the Aberdeen American News reports. William Jenigen, 35, and Jay Woods, 41, were to stand trial on September 16, but the date was changed last week to January 6 to give prosecutors and defense attorneys time to prepare for the case. Woods is charged with four counts of HIV exposure involving three other men. Jenigen is charged with six counts involving three people who have not been identified by gender. Each count carries a felony charge punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a $15,000 fine.
