Heineken brewery earlier this month announced that it will begin providing anti-HIV drug coverage to its African workforce of about 6,000 people and their families, Forbes reports. The company had previously provided HIV antiretroviral medications to workers in Rwanda and Burundi, but it will now expand coverage to all other African workers. Heineken has hired nonprofit firm PharmAccess, which trains local doctors to administer the antiretroviral drugs, to run the company's $2 million-a-year antiretroviral program.
