>A bill to repeal local nondiscrimination laws in Kentucky has been introduced in the state legislature by Republican state representative Joe Fischer, reports the Lexington [Ky.] Herald-Leader. The measure would repeal city and county civil rights law and replace them with federal and state civil rights statutes. The measure would effectively repeal nondiscrimination measures passed in 1999 in Lexington and other local governments. Fischer introduced a similar bill last year.
