With France having legalized same-sex marriage last month, the first such union of two French citizens outside the nation took place Wednesday in Brazil.
French citizens are able to marry at the nation’s embassies throughout the world, and Gilles Barral (left), 51, and Didier Ounnas, 46, were wed at France’s embassy in Brasilia.
