A Republican representative says he would vote to reinstate "don't ask, don't tell," if Republicans take back the White House in November.
Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio told Think Progress that he would "certainly" support reverting to "don't ask, don't tell," though he did not have an answer on how to deal with LGBT troops who have come out since the ban was lifted a year ago this week.
His statement comes almost simultaneously with a new study declaring that allowing openly gay service members to be out had extremely minimal effect on unit cohesion, morale, retention, or recruitment.
