RJ Helton, a finalist from the first season of American Idol, came out last Wednesday on the OutQ in the Morning show on Sirius Satellite Radio. Helton was one of the final five contestants but lost to Kelly Clarkson in American Idol's debut season. He went on to release his album Real Life in March 2004. (The Advocate)
