Lauper Fans Campaign for Special-Edition Albums
Cyndi Lauper fans may soon gain access to the pop star's first three recordings in digital file formats that would include bonus tracks and remixes.

Cyndi Lauper fans may soon gain access to the pop star's first three recordings in digital file formats that would include bonus tracks and remixes. A group of fans has launched a campaign to get the albums reissued internationally on CD with extra tracks -- as well as a DVD collection of her videos.

The label that released the albums She's So Unusual, True Colors, and A Night to Remember is now owned by Sony/BMG. These albums are available on CD, but not with the bonus material that was originally released.

Campaign leader Joshua Durr wrote in an e-mail to The Advocate that the effort is generated entirely by fans and has received no formal funding. (The Advocate)
