Lesbian Band Wins D.C. Music Award

The Washington Area Music Association awarded the Baltimore lesbian band Wicked Jezabel the "Wammy Award" for Best Duo/Group in the category of hard rock. Other performers at the awards show included the Speaks and Billy Coulter Band.

The WAMA awards, which took place on February 17, were cohosted by BMI. (The Advocate)
