Nearly 40 years ago, the first (very rudimentary) Aspen Gay Ski Week took place among a group of gay snow bunnies. Flash forward to now and the event is a must-attend for LGBT winter sports enthusiasts, with not only amazing powder and black diamonds, but also great networking and legendary après-ski events. This year looked to be another success, and it wasn't just idle fun: Aspen Gay Ski Week raises thousands for LGBT charities, including GLSEN, the Trevor Project, HRC, the Tyler Clementi Foundation, and One Colorado. Click through to relive the fun and philanthropy.
