Fans of hedonism should flock to Saint Laurent, a lavish portrayal of fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and his rise to international stardom. Portrayed by the dashing actor Gaspard Ulliel, Laurent led an outwardly glamorous life in the 1960s and '70s that was also marked by addictions to sex and drugs. This French film does what the French do best -- plunge headlong into the artist's tortured soul before coming up for air for a cigarette and a twirl on the dance floor with Lea Seydoux (Blue Is the Warmest Color). See it in theaters this weekend.

If you're in the L.A. area, settle in for an evening of LGBT Theater at Studio C on Theatre Row with director John Coppola's And All the Dead, Lie Down. Starring former adult film performer Colton Ford and Kila Packett, and written by Harrison David Rivers, the story follows Alvin and Foss, two men who begin to face troubles in their relationship after receiving an unexpected call from Foss's delinquent brother. 01-banner_07things20150508-1_0Grace and Frankie
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are a female odd couple in Grace and Frankie, a new Netflix series about a pair of women who are thrown together after their husbands (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) come out as gay and leave them -- for each other. Who could have seen that coming? Who could have seen this series coming? Improbably and wonderfully, it's here and hilarious and demands to be seen beginning today on Netflix.
