Do you really want it? To celebrate Ricky Martin's coming out day, The Advocate has compiled some of his most memorable performance clips, from his career beginnings with Latin American boy band Menudo to his breakthrough to English-speaking audiences with "Livin' la Vida Loca."

Martin first came to public attention as a member of Menudo, the Latin \-American boy band. The band (Martin is on the far right) performs "Like a Cannonball," from the Burt Reynolds comedy Cannonball Run 2, at the MDA telethon in 1984.

Martin made his Broadway debut as Marius in Les Miserables in 1996. Here he performs the ballad "A Little Fall of Rain" with costar Frances Ruffelle.

Martin's breakthrough performance -- at least in the eyes of English-speaking music fans -- came at the 1999 Grammy Awards presentation when he delivered a sizzling performance of "La Copa de la Vida (Cup of Life)" moments before winning the award for Best Latin Pop performance.

Martin's first English language album, Ricky Martin, was a smash, representing the Latin invasion. The video for his first single "Livin' la Vida Loca" made him an international sex symbol.

Martin's follow up album Sound Loaded was launched with the catchy single "She Bangs." Another highlight was his duet with Christina Aguilera on the torrid "Nobody Wants to Be Lonely."

In 2006, the singer taped Ricky Martin MTV Unplugged. A single from the CD version would reach number one on the U.S. Latin charts. Martin performs the sultry "Tu Recuerdo" accompanied by La Mari from the flamenco band Chambao.

Just for kicks, a clip of Martin teaming with Kylie Minogue, another gay icon, for the 2001 concert special An Audience with Ricky Martin. The two performed a duet on Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca."
