To thank health care workers and first responders on the front lines, the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus performed a stunning mash-up of the LGBTQ anthems "True Colors" and "Brave," from Cyndi Lauper and Sara Bareilles.
"Truly Brave" features the 150-member chorus in a virtual performance like none they've ever pulled together before these unprecedented times. Lauper and Bareilles first performed their songs together as "Truly Brave" in 2014 for a fundraiser for pediatric cancer.
The San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus was founded in 1978 with the mission "to lead by creating extraordinary music and experiences that build community, inspire activism, and foster compassion at home and around the world."
