Alec Mapa Gets Filthy for Kids

There was very little talk of the economy, but plenty of chatter about sex, drugs, and American Idol, at Monday's fund-raiser for the LGBT mentoring organization LifeWorks at West Hollywood's Laugh Factory.

Comedians including Jason Stuart, Tony Tripoli, Sandra Valls, Scott Thompson, Judy Tenuta, and Desperate Housewives' Alec Mapa packed the house and made $10,000 for LifeWorks, which, according to its website, "offers one-on-one, peer, and group mentoring opportunities for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender youth ages 14-24."

The evening was hosted by America's second-most famous drag queen, Ms. Coco Peru (pictured). The redhead shared stories of attending Gay Ski Week in Aspen and growing up in the Bronx while living in a pink house. Goodwill and free drink tickets were in abundance; all the comedians were received well, even when they hit the race button. Tripoli, for instance, talked about taking a gay cruise to Puerto Vallarta so he could "get out of L.A. and away from all the Mexicans."

Kids in the Hall 's Scott Thompson (pictured) staged a bizarre routine where he dressed up as a Toronto hausfrau named Fran Wilson, who objected to the Mormons stealing the number 8 from all gay-loving people.

Stuart ended his performance by doing a mock Idol performance, complete with hand motions and pretend sobbing.

But the true showstopper was Mapa, who performed one of his dirtiest stand-up acts ever. He threatened to have sex with the entire audience and discussed the intimate details of his amorous life with his husband, who is apparently fond of public encounters. But his funniest anecdote may have been his most childish: farting at the Prada store.
