The latest news about Ryan Murphy, the gay writer and creator of television shows The New Normal, Glee, Popular, Nip/Tuck, and American Horror Story. The success of the television show Glee has also helped launch the careers of young stars Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, and threw lesbian actress and comedian Jane Lynch into the national spotlight. Ryan Murphy also wrote the screenplay for the feature length film Eat, Pray, Love, which stars Julia Roberts. An ex of prominent director Bill Condon, Murphy is married to David Miller, a photographer, with whom he has a son named Logan.
