The latest news about Lynley Bendall, one of the first women in New Zealand to enter into a same-sex marriage. Bendall said her vows to her partner Ally Wanikau aboard Air New Zealand. Modern Family actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita, also newlyweds, were on board to toast the couple as they reached this milestone. Wanikau and Bendall were among the first same-sex couples to marry in New Zealand, which legalized marriage equality in 2013. The couple won a nationwide contest that included the flight as well as a honeymoon in Palm Springs, California.
