Mario is an alum of Gay & Sober, since its creation on Facebook in 2009, and has been involved with their conferences as Volunteer Coordinator (2018-2019, 2021) and as Co-Chair (2022). Since his first conference experience in 2017, Mario has found the event inspirational on many levels, notably the growth in his own connection & commitment to a sober life, and the joy and fulfillment that can bring.
