It's now the 20th state to ban gender-affirming care for minors.
The bill signed into law by Republican Gov. Greg Gianforte goes further than others in specifically targeting the events.
The bills include an expansion of "don't say gay," a ban on gender-affirming care, restrictions on bathroom use, and restrictions on drag shows.
It was to go into effect on April 1 at midnight.
