Trevor Wayne likes that his body is covered with elaborate body tattoos--even if other people don't. "People always say, 'Think of what you're going to look like when you're 90,' and I say, 'I'm not going to walk around naked when I'm 90 anyway,' " he says. Then, after thinking for a moment, his face brightens and he says, "Or maybe I will!" Heavily into punk rock in his late teens, Wayne got his first tattoo when he came out of the closet at age 18. Expecting intolerance from people in the punk scene, he says he found more prejudice from gay men. "It was like, 'What the hell's wrong with you? You're a freak.' "
