A Shot at Love star Tila Tequila says she's
ready to settle down and adopt a child. She'll just have to
learn how to take care of her dogs first.
"I had a dog, but
I had to give him to [my] best friend, because he did
not like to travel at all," she said. "And I don't like
little Chihuahuas or poodles or those little dogs those
girls carry around. I like bigger dogs."
Tequila, at a
signing for her new book, Hooking Up With Tila
Tequila, told Us magazine that she
sometimes thoughts of leaving Hollywood and adopting a boy,
but she wants to "make at least another billion
dollars before I adopt children so I can just focus on
them," she said. "Like, just move to an island and
give them everything."
MySpace-turned-television star said in June that her show's
success may have influenced the California supreme court's
legalization of gay marriage earlier in May.
"It is because of
me. I definitely think [my show] has helped the
movement," she said. "Before it came out, everyone was still
a little apprehensive about [same-sex relationships],"
she said. "Then they realized, 'Wow, everyone is
really into this stuff, and it is fine.' The next
thing you know, [gay marriage] is legal."
