Senate Bill 458 would define gender according to a person's reproductive capacities.
The Human Rights Campaign is calling on Gov. Greg Gianforte to veto these and other anti-LGBTQ+ measures.
“I have a voice and I can be heard,” says David Gianforte, son of Republican Gov. Greg Gianforte.
“We don’t ascribe to just simply biologic definitions. We acknowledge that there are different genders, and our cultures have always known that there are more than two genders," said Montana Two-Spirit activist David Herrera.
It's one of three anti-LGBTQ+ bills the Republican governor signed.
