This revival by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids) features an all-female cast, a fact that led a group of women-haters to troll the movie online and even drive down its IMDB rating with negative reviews. But after seeing an advance screening, The Advocate is proud to report that Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones nail it as a team of apparition hunters, serving laughs and entertainment in this perfect summer blockbuster. As McKinnon's character says during one thrilling ghost-finding sequence, "come out, come out wherever you are" to watch Ghostbusters this weekend.
