Paula Abdul will host an evening of music and entertainment at the first concert to benefit In Defense of Animals, an organization set up to rescue animals still affected by Hurricane Katrina. The fund-raiser, scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, will also launch IDA's Disaster Relief Fund to help animals in future disasters and other IDA rescue operations around the world.

Tickets are $275 per person; $1,000 buys two VIP concert tickets and entry to the VIP-sponsor celebrity reception. Tickets are available online at idausa.org/concert or by calling the IDA office at (415) 388-9641.
