World AIDS Day AIDSWatch
AIDSWatch, a project created in 1996 by David Reid, memorializes people lost to the epidemic. It will play online through midnight tonight at AIDSWatch.org, with the names of those who've died of AIDS complications shown one by one in white type against a black background, "illustrating the idea that everyone is equal in death," WeHoVille reports. The city of West Hollywood will also project it on the north face of the West Hollywood Public Library, and it will also been shown on several billboards along Los Angeles's Hollywood Boulevard. Remember, AIDS hasn't gone away, and it's still incumbent on all of us to support treatment and prevention services.
