7 Ways to Resist This Week

Global warming is real, and its effects are already wreaking global havoc in the form of severe storms, flooding, and the melting of ice caps. “Couldn’t you hear what Mother Nature was screaming at you?” asks Al Gore, the narrator of An Inconvenient Sequel, which shows the damage effected by climate change and predicts the horrors yet to come. The film, a follow-up to An Inconvenient Truth, is another call to action — to save the earth for future generations. The obstacles are many. The Trump administration, which denies the reality of climate change, has vowed to dismantle the Environmental Protection Agency and withdraw the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement. But An Inconvenient Sequel shows (and encourages viewers to join) the worldwide movement to stop global warming. See it in theaters this weekend.
