MTV Networks' Logo channel announced Friday that it will partner with Maverick TV to develop an queer-themed prime-time soap opera from Spyder Games creators Christian McLaughlin and Valerie Ahern.

MTV Networks' Logo channel announced Friday that it will partner with Maverick TV to develop an queer-themed prime-time soap opera from Spyder Games creators Christian McLaughlin and Valerie Ahern. Tentatively titled San Rafael, the show will follow, according to a network statement, "the unexpected schemes and twists in the intertwined lives of a group of LGBT friends and foes living in the same apartment complex." McLaughlin and Ahern have previously written for Drawn Together and The Bold and the Beautiful ; McLaughlin has also received acclaim for his comic gay novels Glamourpuss and Sex Toys of the Gods.
