Howard Cruse nominated for Eisner Award

Nominations have been announced for the 2002 Eisner Awards, honoring achievements in comic books and graphic novels, and gay cartoonist Howard Cruse is up for Best Archival Collection/Project for his compendium Wendel All Together, collecting the complete run of his cartoon series "Wendel" (much of which originally appeared in The Advocate). The Eisners will be presented in August at the Comic-Con International in San Diego.
