The Academy Awards Night Charity Gala, hosted by the Academy of Friends, will take place in San Francisco on Sunday, February 22. The charity event, the largest Academy Awards party outside the Hollywood area, will benefit multiple AIDS service organizations in the Bay Area. Project Runway's Jack Mackenroth, who has been HIV-positive for almost two decades, will be present at the event to represent his HIV and AIDS education initiative, Living Positive by Design. The initiative focuses on how individuals with HIV can maintain a positive and healthy lifestyle, both physically and emotionally.
