A new New York Times/CBS poll finds that Americans' support for a repeal of "don't ask, don't tell" differs dramatically depending on how the question is phrased.
In the poll, 59% say they favor "homosexuals" serving openly in the U.S. military. That number jumps to 70% when the word "homosexuals" is replaced with "gay men and lesbians."
