The glitter bombs actually came from the skies this time.
The antigay Minnesota for Marriage booth at the state fair happened to be positioned perfectly underneath the Skyglider, and two cars flying above dropped glitter bombs onto the anti-marriage contingent below on Sunday.
Somehow Minnesota for Marriage had managed to secure a booth at the fair while the pro-marriage equality coalition, Minnesotans United for All Families, said they were told there was no room.
"They made it very, very clear that there was no room and we weren't coming to the fair," said Donald McFarland, a project manager for the group, in the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
The glitter bombing was again organized by Nick Espinosa, who started the trend by glittering former House speaker Newt Gingrich, and who glittered the Christian counseling center offices where Marcus Bachmann was found to offer so-called reparative therapy.
As usual, the bombing was caught on tape. Watch it below.
