Authorities are looking for a man who may have information related to an attack on a man who was punched unconscious after challenging someone calling him antigay slurs. 

"It makes me feel motivated to raise awareness and to get the message out that we are here and we aren't going anywhere," one victim said.

Police CCTV helped them quickly capture the men they say used a knife to attack a young woman in a queer-friendly neighborhood.

"It was terrifying...We knew straight away they were coming straight for us," said one of the victims, Dan Wilson.

The victim said that nobody on the train tried to intervene in the assault. "If I saw someone getting hurt I would jump in and help," he said.
