PHOTOS: Birmingham Prays for Orlando

The sheer number of places coming out in solidarity with Orlando is overwhelming. There were vigils in big cities like Manhattan outside the Stonewall Inn, or in Los Angeles with Lady Gaga as a special guest speaker. And a beautiful and somber memorial event for the victims of the Pulse shooting took place in the Deep South, in Linn Park between the City Council building and the court house in Birmingham, Ala. on Monday evening.
