Sheriff's deputies and employees of the Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., -- just south of Los Angeles -- didn't intervene when hundreds of protesters formed the word "Resist!" on Saturday.

Officials likely didn't respond because the formation occurred at a public park that's part of the sprawling golf club. The flash mob, which included children and babies, gathered at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning to form the 30-foot tall letters, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The group behind the very public protest is Indivisible San Pedro, a group of Angelenos calling for the president to release his taxes and for the naming of a special prosecutor to investigate his connections to the Russian government.
