Marriage equality is on the ballot in various forms in four states. Eight LGBT candidates are vying for House seats, plus a U.S. Senate candidate hopes to make history. State and local races include hundreds of LGBT candidates and a list of important firsts. Then the main event, of course, is President Obama versus Mitt Romney.
