The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Historical Society and Museum's new exhibit, "Sporting Life: LGBT Athletics and Cultural Change From the 1960s-2004," will open April 2. The exhibit will tell the story of Bay Area gay and lesbian sporting events, teams, and leagues and will be presented at the GLBTHS Museum, located at 657 Mission St., Ste. 300. Organizers are calling for members of the community who have participated in professional and amateur athletics to come forward with diverse memories, images, and artifacts. Those with stories or items to share can contact Provenzano at sportinglife_sf@yahoo.com or by calling (415) 777-5455. Or visit www.glbthistory.org.
