Lambda Literary Awards
In a time when representation is more important than ever, it's not just about spotlighting queer stories, but LGBT storytellers. On Monday the Lambda Literary Awards (the "Lammys") will identify and celebrate the best lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender books of the year and their queer authors. Hosted by Kate Clinton and honoring Edmund White and Roxane Gay, the event kicks off with a red carpet and VIP cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. at the New York University Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, followed by the awards ceremony and then an after-party at Le Poisson Rouge.
