Beautiful combinations of color, strong compositions, and dreamscapes worthy of Freud all conspire to engage the eye and disturb the rational mind in David Lavine's operatic collage work. There is no digital manipulation here; each piece is snipped and glued by hand and the product is in scale to the original source material. They are works of patient craftmanship.
