       Openly gay actor Sir Derek Jacobi will be joining the cast of Rupert Everett's NBC sitcom Mr. Ambassador, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show centers around a fish-out-of-water British ambassador (Everett) in Washington, D.C. Jacobi has won two Emmys, most recently for a guest appearance on Frasier.
