Frederick Weller
has had a busy spring off-Broadway. The actor has just
closed a run at Second Stage in Some Men,
Terrence McNally's look at eight decades of gay life in
America.
And now Weller
will star in Neil LaBute's In a Dark Dark
House, replacing Jason Patric, who has left the MCC
Theater production because of what were called
"creative differences."
In a Dark Dark House opens June 7 at
off-Broadway's Lucille Lortel Theatre. Preview performances
begin May 16 for this drama about two brothers dealing
with their past. The cast also includes Ron Livingston
and Louisa Krause. (AP)
